ETF Express Awards (2011-2015) were decided by the votes of ETF Express subscribers, who include investors as well as managers and other industry professionals at firms including fund administrators, custodians, advisers and distributors. For the ETF Express US Awards 2020, issuers we nominated from a pre-selected shortlist based on data provided by Bloomberg. Voting for the eventual winners was conducted via an online poll of the entire ETF Express readership, carried out over a period of several weeks.
The ETF.com award selection process follows three steps: 1) an open nominating process; 2) a “Nominating Committee” narrows the nominees to a maximum of five in each category; and 3) a “Selection Committee” of independent ETF experts votes on the winners. For 2015 awards, the Nominating Committee was composed of senior members of ETF.com’s editorial and analytics departments. For 2017 awards, the Nominating Committee was made up of senior leaders at ETF.com, Inside ETFs, and FactSet. For 2019 awards, the Nominating Committee was made up of ETF.com editorial staff.
