    In November 2023, Global X research surveyed 1,091 individuals in the United States regarding consumer spending habits in anticipation of the upcoming holiday shopping season.

    • 38% of respondents anticipate spending $101-$500 on gifts for others, while 60% anticipate spending less than $100 on themselves.
    • More than half (57%) of respondents anticipate doing up to 50% of their holiday shopping on Black Friday/ Cyber Monday.
    • More than half (53%) of respondents anticipate spending $100 or less on holiday gifts this holiday season, and the majority are looking to save 31% or more on sales.
